Learn how to swim with professional instructors that guide you through every step of the way, from the first erratic lesson to professional strokes in the pool. PSB Fitness also offers virtual and in-person lessons regarding fitness from professionals. This is free of cost monthly lesson on how to keep yourself fit. Topics such as nutrition, weight training, and cardio are all covered under this. We take pride in focusing on you. We do this by assigning an instructor to you twice per week for an hour. This is covered under the monthly payment you will make.

 

These instructors will focus on you to make sure you achieve your short- and long-term goals. From diet, form, weights, cardio and getting the most out of your gym time, these instructors will be with you every step of the way. We will not leave you alone on this journey to fulfill those fitness goals. In the off-hours, you can contact our instructors through email and live video chat on our website. Even when they are not in or not focusing on you, you can still go ahead and ask them for tips and tricks to up your levels of fitness at PSB Fitness.

To keep things interesting, we will offer you free meals either at the beginning of your workout or after your workout. These meals will be light and refreshing to keep things balanced. Now to the least important part, the monthly payment. You will only have to pay $15. For everything that is mentioned above is included in this payment, this sounds like a dream deal, we wish we had a gym like this when we were just starting too. PSB Fitness is founded by Jessie Hughes and Matt Jackson who are both PSB graduates and are professionals in the fitness industry. Jessie and Matt have been friends for over 9 years and have always shared a passion for fitness. They have dedicated their lives to not only achieve their own physical goals, but they have also guided hundreds of other people to achieve their goals and aspirations. Jessie has an experience of 7 years in one of the most well-known gyms in the GTA. On the other hand, Matt is a certified personal trainer with 5 years experience and several clients under his guidance. To further help people with their physical goals and aspirations, PSB provides an on site facility as well as a fitness app for remote workout sessions.

Both individuals have collectively come together and made it possible for students and other individuals in the peel region to attain their desired physical wants in a fun and affordable manner. Unfortunately, most people don’t have access to treatment to fully recover from these types of injuries. However, fear no longer! Here at Sheridan PSB fitness, we have the resources and on-site trained therapists to help you. We show you how to safely use exercise facilities, and will aid in your injury rehabilitation. How we diagnose an injury:

First, our trained physio-therapists checks out your injury. Then will review your x-rays or ultrasound results with you, to understand what you are dealing with and how severe the injury is. Torn ligaments have different treatments than pinched nerves do. Second, they will then put together appropriate treatment plans for you.

Firstly, our trained therapist will relax your muscles. They do this by applying cream and medical rub to the affected area.

Secondly, the therapist will rub area, releasing all tension.

Thirdly, they will then allow you to rest in a hot temperature room to relax muscles further, and relax the mind.

In conclusion, this helps for a variety of health-related purposes. Those purposes include: to relieve pain, heal sports injuries, increase relaxation, reduce anxiety and depression, and help general wellness.

 

  • Acupuncture:

  • Heating and Cooling Pads:

Heat therapy relaxes muscles and prevents stiffness. Heat and ice are used together in an alternating patterns. This works to reduce swelling and increase circulation to an area.

Firstly, the therapist will rub area gently with muscle relaxing cream.

Secondly, they will apply cold or warm compress and allow time for relaxation.

Finally, they will apply skin hydrating cream incase of any sensitive skin reactions. In conclusion, this will increase injury recovery time.

 

 

  • Bracing and Taping:

We use a specific type of therapy tape called “Kinesio Tape”. This tape limits movements of muscles and joints. Several layers of tape are rolled around the area to keep of pressure onto the muscles. Therefore, allowing the muscles to recover faster, as they are not being used as much in movements.

Our gym understands how mental and physical health are intertwined in many ways. We aim to help your mind, as much as your body. Therefore, we believe working on mental and physical health help you to become “The Real You”.

These type of therapies help mental tension and disorders. They aid in general wellness, but are geared towards helping people with anxiety and depression.

Amino acids: Amino acids are very necessary when gaining muscles because when we do workout for muscle gaining, you have to do weightlifting in order to rebuild and make muscles stronger. As well as you have to tear your muscles so in order to repair that, amino acid is required.

Vitamins and nutrients: Vitamins and nutrients are necessary for the healthy functioning of all parts of our body and functioning of all body parts are important for reshaping of body and muscles.

Antioxidants: Antioxidants are the nutrients that help our body in fighting with toxins and disease cells. They also help the body in fighting with cancer cells. Introduction

At PSB Cafe we are now offering at Mississauga exotic fruit smoothies at PSB Cafe in order to meet the demand for healthy, foreign alternatives to the common fruit drinks. Apples, bananas and oranges are boring and a thing of the past. The modern consumer wishes for something more exciting and that is what PSB Cafe is willing to offer. The second exotic fruit is Soursop. Soursop is an extremely unique fruit that not many of the average person knows about. Soursop is an odd-looking fruit (like Dragon Fruit) but boasts a very interesting taste. A mixture of sweet and sour tastes will intrigue most people and totally surprise them with this fruit. Not many smoothie stores will have Soursop available as a smoothie option so this will indeed cause a buzz around the Sheridan campuses for PSB Cafe. Soursop is also relatively low in calories so even for customers outside the target audience, anyone who may watch their caloric intake may be interested in trying the Soursop smoothie. Soursop is also high in fiber as well as Vitamin C. Both being noted as essential vitamins and nutrients for the human body.

Miracle Fruit

The third exotic fruit that will be added to the list of new exotic fruit smoothies to be rolled out for PSB Cafe will be the Miracle Fruit. The Miracle fruit is truly in its title. The miracle fruit is often used with sour tasting fruits in order to offset the taste due to a molecule in the fruit called miraculin. Miraculin causes the receptors on the tongue to perceive sour things as sweet. Therefore we have chosen at PSB Cafe to add in the Miracle fruit with lemon to create an amazing low sugar smoothie that will be perfect for someone who is very serious about their sugar intake. Sugar intake directly correlates with wellbeing and our target audience would be quite pleased having a smoothie that is low in sugar but also yields a great taste.
