Certainly, with the ease of a digital world, we have incorporated the addition of a PSB Fitness App that will allow members to get the most out of their membership. We know you’re excited about this new affordable gym in Mississauga with an App. For instance, the app will give you access to a schedule of all the classes and programs on a month-to-month basis and allow you to make bookings and catch up on your favorite workouts. Moreover, it will also entail special workouts geared towards your body and goals that can be done from the comfort of your home. Similarly, you can stream, download, and cast all your favorite workouts as well as use our very own feature of video-call conferences where you and your buddy can work out together. PSB Fitness is founded by Jessie Hughes and Matt Jackson who are both PSB graduates and are professionals in the fitness industry. Jessie and Matt have been friends for over 9 years and have always shared a passion for fitness. They have dedicated their lives to not only achieve their own physical goals, but they have also guided hundreds of other people to achieve their goals and aspirations. Jessie has an experience of 7 years in one of the most well-known gyms in the GTA. On the other hand, Matt is a certified personal trainer with 5 years experience and several clients under his guidance. To further help people with their physical goals and aspirations, PSB provides an on site facility as well as a fitness app for remote workout sessions.

Both individuals have collectively come together and made it possible for students and other individuals in the peel region to attain their desired physical wants in a fun and affordable manner. In Mississauga and Brampton, we opened PSB gym most recently. Every coach on this team is a superstar! They are dedicated, professional, and continually strive to improve themselves and you! In addition to the most popular riding lessons, there are also boxing, Zumba, yoga, and other fitness classes available. The exercise classroom is equipped with huge lighting and music, as well as a range of washing machines, in order to better carry out fat reduction, sculpting, fitness, and leisure and enjoyment. The bathroom provides a variety of toiletries, towels, bath towels, etc. Our members can feel free to grab healthy, fresh juices and salads at the leisure bar area. At PSB fitness once you sign up for a yearly membership at either our Mississauga or Brampton location, you have exclusive access to a personal trainer, who is selected based on your individual needs. The personal training service is already included in your monthly membership, up to 1 hour sessions 2 times per week.  Additionally, you will have personal progress reports, workout plans, food plans, and easy access to questions from your trainer all in the PSB application on your android or Iphone.

What is PSB Fitness?

PSB Fitness is a gym experience made for college students. It was founded by two men who graduated Sheridan college. Their names are Jessie and Matt. Combined they have 12 years of fitness experience. Jessie has 7 years experience as a fitness instructor and Matt has 5 years as a certified personal trainer. Their goal is was to create the affordable Mississauga college gym students use to say healthy. And over time we improved on that.

We have two locations that students can attend. These locations are very accessible to the students that attend Sheridan college.Both these locations provide the same amenities and quality.

Since the dawn of humans cardio has been a staple of an exercise. Cardio is a great way to get your heart going and your blood pumping. We know that college students tend to sit down all day because studying is time consuming, but cardio can actually help you study, and at PSB Fitness we know that. Our cardio classes do a number of exercises from more intense exercises like running, jump squats and stair climbs to less intense but still enjoyable exercises like dancing, jump rope and jumping jacks. Aerobics:

Aerobics is all about building your muscle strength. Doing aerobics is a great way to build up the confidence to move that heavy object you’ve been meaning to move for a while. Our aerobics classes focus on building your overall muscle strength. We do exercises like squats, pushups, plank, and glute bridges. Volleyball:

Volleyball is a classic sport that really does not need an introduction. Volleyball is a great way to test your strength, mind and agility. You will go head to head against other teams and learn from our instructors to be able to be the best player you can be. How does fitness impact learning

Yoga Class

As people pay more and more attention to their health. Therefore, People keep their bodies fit by exercising. For youths, exercise benefits their brain development. However, for older people, it might slow down the rate of aging to keep a healthy body and good somatic function. Then, what does regular exercise benefits students? Why does proper exercise help effective learning?

The reason for an effective learning state comes from two aspects. They are the physical and psychological states. In the aspect of psychological state, it’s necessary for students to have a relaxing and joyful mood. Because it is better for students to grasp knowledge. In other words, The happiness that exercises bring to them improves their motivation to study.

On the other hand, fitness does some positive influence on our body. Firstly, physical exercise releases proteins in the brain. It can help improve memory and increase cognitive performance. Secondly, the oxygen and glucose in the blood that is gained from exercise are typically what the brain needs for functioning at a high speed.

In the previous blog, we discussed how Yoga helps with mental and physical health. Reliving stress and enhancing metabolism is also the key reason for effective learning. So we may say that proper exercise has a positive impact on learning to a great extent.

Professional training activities (online classes)

Firstly, Sherpa methods from Himalaya to improve physical resiliency and condition. Secondly,K2 group training, strength & cardio equipment, extreme cardio exercise which some exercises were designed and developed by founder. In addition, professional advice of workout steps to help customer burn calories and improve physical resiliency.

PSB Group Activities

  2. Group calories smash (Intensive running, bicycling, boxing, and dancing) – Firstly, We are scheduling different training activities every day. Each training class is leaded by a professional trainer to make sure our members can work out efficiently. Secondly, Different exercises will be in different rooms. In short, Calories Smash is a program for members to intensively burn calories together! Intensive running, bicycling, boxing, and dancing which are the most popular and effective activities for weight management!     
  3. Group stretching – After that, members must feel tired. In order to avoid muscular soreness, we should do stretching. Therefore, we have hired body stretching trainers to teach our member how to stretch muscle after intensive work-out. Feel free to ask any questions to them.

The classes 4 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun) in 2 batches. The time slots are 4 am-12 pm and 2-10 pm. Online classes are also available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 24/7 Regular Bodyweight Training & Cardio with PSB

24/7 fitness with PSB MississaugaIt consists of sessions in which our skilled trainers teach you bodyweight exercises including push-ups, squats, pull-ups, crunches, and a variety of others. Jogging in place, jumping jacks, burpees, kickboxing, and other aerobic exercises are included. The classes are available 24/7. 

Martial Arts at PSB Mississauga
